Reverend Ralph Abernathy speaks at Kent State University at a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The program was sponsored by Black United Students. Abernathy was a leader in the civil rights movement. He worked closely with Dr. King and became president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference following King's assassination. |
