Full title: An account of the wilful [sic] murder of William Holmes, on Friday, August 24, 1832, near the moor called Stanhope Hope, Weardale, in the county of Durham, by John Price a poacher, who literally smashed the backside of his scull [sic] in with the butt-end of his gun, while Holmes with others, was assisting Fenwick, Gamekeeper to the Bishop of Durham, while in the preservation of the game. Price has been fully committed by the Coroner's Jury to take his trial at the ensuing Assizes.
