Full title: A copy of verses, on the unfortunate Mary Wright, now under sentence of death! in Norwich Castle for the murder of her husband and father, and who was delivered of a fine girl, which was immediately taken from her, as is usual on these awful occasions, which so wrung the heart of the wretched mother (not being allowed even to see her own helpless infant) that by desire the following lines [were written as a] warning to deter others from bringing themselves to her miserable and unhappy condition.
