Description Broadside street ballad with full title, The unhappy transport, giving a sorrowful account of his 14, year’s transportation to Botany Bay, New South Wales, in February 1806, and his return to London, March 1, 1821. In six parts. Being a remarkable and succint [sic] history of the life of James Revel, the unhappy sufferer, who was put an apprentice by his father to a tinman, near Moorfield, where he got into bad company, and before long ran away and went robbing with a gang of thieves, for which he was transported 14, year's with an account of the way the transports work and punishment they receive for committing any fault. Concluding with a word of advice to all young men. Includes a woodcut illustration of a man in shackles on the shore of a beach.
