Concerned Citizens of the Kent Community (CCC)

Description Concerned Citizens of the Kent Community (CCC) was an organization formed in April 1969 in the aftermath of arrests and suspensions of students, several members of SDS, that resulted from a demonstration and occupation of the Music & Speech building on April 16, 1969. CCC was made up of a diverse group of faculty and students and focused on issues of due process and the rights and civil liberties of students on campus. This subject file includes flyers, memoranda, reports on the CCC campus referendum, clippings, and notes related to the aftermath of the Music & Speech building occupation event and CCC.
