Description |
These files includes responses provided to the "Subcommittee on Faculty Attitudes and Activities" of the Commission on KSU Violence. A memorandum from this subcommittee was sent to all Kent State faculty (including teaching assistants) on June 3, 1970, soliciting feedback on two major questions: 1) What do you believe were the basic causes of violence on this campus? and 2) What do you think should be done to avoid future violence on the campus? Also included are responses by selected Kent State University staff members. In some cases, the subcommittee interviewed specific faculty members, including departmental chairs, whose responses appear in the form of interview transcripts. In cases in which corrections were made to the original transcript, both copies (original and edited) are included. Responses are organized in alphabetical order by surname. |
