Letter from Arland Nelson in response to a call from the Akron Beacon Journal for people to write in with their recollections or experiences of the time of the Kent State Shootings. Nelson was a member of the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the time of the shootings, and recalls the chaotic aftermath when parents struggled to find their children and all students were leaving campus. |
