Letter from James Weiser in response to a call from the Akron Beacon Journal for people to write in with their recollections or experiences of the time of the Kent State Shootings. Weiser was in seventh grade in Kent, Ohio, at the time of the shootings, and describes his memories of the days surrounding May 4, 1970. His father, John C. Weiser, was the General Manager of Radio Operations at WKSU in 1970. See the John C. Weiser papers for more information. |
