A student who was in Tiananmen Square during the June 3-4, 1989, demonstrations, Wuer Kai Xi was invited by the May Fourth Task Force to speak at the 1990 Commemoration of the shootings at Kent State University. In this oral history, he discusses the events at Tiananmen Square and Kent State. He also discusses attending Kent State's May 3, 1990, candlelight vigil for the shooting victims. |
