Description Correspondence sent to Kent State University President Robert I. White between April 26 and 30, 1969. Most letters were sent by Ohio residents, who expressed their opinions on White's decision to expel several members of the Kent State University chapter of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and revoke the organization's charter. SDS members were campaigning to abolish the ROTC program at Kent State.
