Mixed-media painting on canvas, 35.5 inches by 38 inches. Restored in 2020, by Andrea Chevalier, Senior Paintings Conservator of the Intermuseum Conservation Association. Elizabeth Ann (Gibbs) Dunfee was a Kent State University art student at the time of the shootings. The morning after May 4, 1970, she began to paint this work using oils and acrylics, completing it in the months to follow. |
