American Poets
From early American authors such as Emily Dickinson and Stephen Crane to the Beat poets and the Mimeograph Revolution of the 1960s, extensive and deep collections of American poetry are available for study. These collections include both printed books as well as archives and manuscript collections, documenting this rich and varied aspect of American literary and cultural history. Poets of the 20th century are particularly well-represented, including Robert Creeley, Nikki Giovanni, Gary Snyder, Denise Levertov, and Clevelander d.a. levy, among many others.
