Description

Larry Raines was a student at Kent State University from 1968 to 1972. He was studying political science and was active on campus in student organizations and as coach of the freshman basketball team. He describes his participation in civil rights and anti-war demonstrations on campus. Raines was an eyewitness to the shootings and shares a detailed description of his experiences that day along with a discussion of the aftermath.
